Mission Statement:

Community Services will assist residents of Fairfield County to become more self-reliant and improve their quality of life by providing medical and financial assistance, supportive services, and job skills enhancement.

General Information:

Services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on an appointment or walk-in basis. For working families, appointments outside of the normal operating hours are available.

Philosophy

Community Services uses a customer-driven philosophy for providing services to assist families to become self-reliant. The services can be direct financial or medical assistance or supportive services such as case management. A variety of funding sources are utilized for these different types of services.  Community Services staff are committed to providing excellent customer service to Fairfield County families.

Who Should Access Our Services?
  • Aged, blind or disabled adults with no minor children
  • Nursing Home residents
  • Families who routinely struggle to afford food for their family
  • Women that are pregnant and without health insurance
  • Unemployed individuals who need help finding a job
  • Families unable to meet basic needs such as shelter, food, health care and utility bills
  • Men and women recently released from prison or jail
