OUR HIRING PROCESS

When an open position becomes available to external applicants, the opportunity will be posted on our hiring website. Application instructions will appear in each job posting. 

All applications must be submitted through our online application system. Please include a resume, cover letter, and completed application. Application materials will only be accepted for current open positions.

The selection process:

• Screening Interview: If you are chosen for a screening interview, you will be contacted by the Human Resources Department for a brief phone interview regarding the position.
• Additional interviews with program managers/supervisors may be recommended following the screening interview.  
• Human Resources will notify all interviewees of the final hiring decision.
• Recommended applicants are subject to the successful completion of job-related background checks, including electronic fingerprinting and driving records when applicable.  All offers of employment are contingent upon approval of these background checks.

LICENSURE AND DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

For social worker positions, licensure is preferred but not required.  However, a related Bachelor’s Degree is required for social worker positions. Acceptable degrees include: Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Human Ecology, Family & Consumer Science or other related fields.
