Children in agency care experience the trauma of separation
from family, school, and friends. While experiencing temporary
placement, it is important to maintain positive connections, and
normalize life for children as much as possible. Your donation, no
matter how small, can buy a child a toy at Christmas, help pay for
participation in school sports, or allow a mother and her children to
have an outing in a community location for visitation. Additionally,
donations may provide funding for a child in care to receive tutoring,
music lessons or other extracurricular activities. Donations also
assist elders living in Fairfield County with essential items like food,
clothing, utilities, and items that help maintain independence. You
can also donate the gift of time by helping an older adult with home
repairs or routine maintenance. There are so many ways you can help.
No gift is too small and every donation can help make a difference right
here in our community.
